| Never, Never Give Up We often hear people say, “Never give up.” These can be encouraging words and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up. One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. If we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities. In short, it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn will help us to become better, more confident people. Furthermore, if we give up, we have non chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed one day. 參考譯文： 永不放棄 我們常聽到人們說：“永遠(yuǎn)不要放棄�！边@句話可能是要鼓勵(lì)別人，也可能是表示自己的決心。相信自己的人，不管經(jīng)歷多少次失敗，都會(huì)不斷試著要達(dá)到目標(biāo)。我認(rèn)為，有成功的決心是每個(gè)人都應(yīng)該有的重要特質(zhì)。因此，我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該永不放棄。 其中一個(gè)理由是，如果我們太輕易放棄，就幾乎無法完成任何事。我們第一次嘗試新事物會(huì)失敗，這是很平常的事，所以我們不應(yīng)感到氣餒，而應(yīng)該要再試一次。而且，如果我們總是一失敗就放棄，就無法培養(yǎng)新技能并且不斷地成長。我們應(yīng)該永不放棄的另一個(gè)原因是，只有再努力一次才能從錯(cuò)誤中學(xué)習(xí)。如果我們不再試一次，那么我們所學(xué)到的教訓(xùn)就白白浪費(fèi)了。最后，我們應(yīng)該永不放棄，因?yàn)楫?dāng)我們努力達(dá)到目標(biāo)的時(shí)候，我們就會(huì)培養(yǎng)出自信，而這種自信將有助于我們在生活的其他領(lǐng)域中獲得成功。如果我們不挑戰(zhàn)自我，我們就會(huì)開始懷疑自己的能力。 簡言之，當(dāng)我們努力追求目標(biāo)時(shí)，永不放棄是很重要的。不管最后有沒有成功，我們都會(huì)學(xué)到一些東西，而我們所學(xué)到的東西，將會(huì)使自己成為一個(gè)更好、更有自信的人。而且，如果放棄的話，我們就沒有機(jī)會(huì)達(dá)到目標(biāo)。但是如果能不斷地嘗試，總有一天我們一定會(huì)有機(jī)會(huì)成功的。 |
