2012年1月，為把山東大學(xué)建設(shè)成為世界儒學(xué)中心，使儒學(xué)率先成為世界一流學(xué)科，進(jìn)而帶動(dòng)相關(guān)學(xué)科快速發(fā)展，山東大學(xué)將原儒學(xué)高等研究院、儒學(xué)研究中心、文史哲研究院和《文史哲》編輯部整合成新的儒學(xué)高等研究院，文史哲研究院名稱保留，《文史哲》編輯部相對(duì)獨(dú)立。

　　山東大學(xué)儒學(xué)高等研究院不僅是一個(gè)獨(dú)立的科研實(shí)體，更是一個(gè)開放性的公共科研平臺(tái)。作為公共科研平臺(tái)，儒學(xué)院將次第對(duì)全校、全國(guó)、全世界開放，對(duì)所有古典學(xué)術(shù)研究者開放，在這個(gè)過程中逐步將儒學(xué)院打造成為海內(nèi)外古典學(xué)術(shù)研究特別是儒學(xué)研究的權(quán)威機(jī)構(gòu)之一。目前儒學(xué)院設(shè)有中國(guó)哲學(xué)研究所、中國(guó)史學(xué)研究所、中國(guó)文學(xué)研究所、經(jīng)學(xué)小學(xué)研究所、古典文獻(xiàn)研究所、民俗研究所、許嘉璐辦公室、龐樸辦公室�，F(xiàn)任院長(zhǎng)許嘉璐，常務(wù)副院長(zhǎng)徐向紅、樊麗明，執(zhí)行副院長(zhǎng)王學(xué)典，黨委書記巴金文，副院長(zhǎng)顏炳罡、杜澤遜、黃玉順。

　　原文史哲研究院成立于2002年，是由原文史哲研究所(1983年成立)、古籍整理研究所(1983年成立)、民俗研究所(1985年成立)合并而成。原儒學(xué)研究中心成立于2005年。原儒學(xué)高等研究院成立于2010年�！段氖氛堋穭t創(chuàng)刊于1951年。作為儒學(xué)院的源頭和組成部分，上述機(jī)構(gòu)有著共同的人文學(xué)術(shù)傳承和深厚的學(xué)術(shù)根基。曾在本院前身機(jī)構(gòu)擔(dān)任行政及科研職務(wù)的知名學(xué)者有華崗、吳富恒、楊向奎、蕭滌非、王仲犖、關(guān)德棟、蔣維崧、王紹曾、葛懋春、丁冠之、董治安等。目前仍在從事科研工作的知名學(xué)者有龐樸、吉常宏、徐經(jīng)澤、龔克昌、張忠綱、孟祥才、劉曉東、馮浩菲等。

　　研究院跨中文、歷史、哲學(xué)、社會(huì)學(xué)4個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科和10個(gè)二級(jí)學(xué)科，現(xiàn)設(shè)中國(guó)古典文獻(xiàn)學(xué)、中國(guó)民間文學(xué)2個(gè)獨(dú)立博士點(diǎn)，與其他院部共建中國(guó)古代文學(xué)、漢語言文字學(xué)、史學(xué)理論及史學(xué)史、專門史、中國(guó)近現(xiàn)代史、外國(guó)哲學(xué)、中國(guó)哲學(xué)、科學(xué)技術(shù)哲學(xué)8個(gè)博士點(diǎn)，共建哲學(xué)、文學(xué)、史學(xué)3個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士后流動(dòng)站;有外國(guó)哲學(xué)、中國(guó)哲學(xué)、科學(xué)技術(shù)哲學(xué)、民俗學(xué)、中國(guó)民間文學(xué)、文藝學(xué)、漢語言文字學(xué)、中國(guó)古典文獻(xiàn)學(xué)、中國(guó)古代文學(xué)、史學(xué)理論及史學(xué)史、專門史、中國(guó)近現(xiàn)代史12個(gè)碩士點(diǎn)。中國(guó)古典文獻(xiàn)學(xué)先后被批準(zhǔn)為山東省重點(diǎn)學(xué)科和國(guó)家重點(diǎn)(培育)學(xué)科，民俗學(xué)研究所被批準(zhǔn)為山東省非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)研究基地，并成為文化部中國(guó)節(jié)日文化研究基地。院圖書資料室現(xiàn)有藏書10萬余冊(cè)。線裝古籍1萬余冊(cè)，多為明清刻本。其中明成化十年內(nèi)府刻《改并五音類聚四聲篇》為明“文淵閣”故物，《大正新修大藏經(jīng)》有戴季陶手批，皆屬珍貴典籍。

　　研究院擁有一支優(yōu)秀的師資隊(duì)伍，現(xiàn)有教職工60人，其中教授28人，副教授13人，講師8人，管理人員7人，圖書資料人員4人。另有美國(guó)籍教師1人，日本籍教師1人�，F(xiàn)有博士生導(dǎo)師17人，具有博士學(xué)位的教師占教師總?cè)藬?shù)的80%以上。王學(xué)典教授、鄭杰文教授被聘為山東省文史研究館員，馬來平教授被聘為山東省政府參事。杜澤遜教授2012年入選教育部長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者特聘教授。杜澤遜教授、張士閃教授入選國(guó)家教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才支持計(jì)劃。已培養(yǎng)博士研究生200余名，碩士研究生400余名，有1名博士獲得全國(guó)百篇優(yōu)秀博士學(xué)位論文獎(jiǎng)、有1名博士獲得全國(guó)優(yōu)秀博士學(xué)位論文提名獎(jiǎng);在讀碩士、博士研究生230余人，在研博士后40余人。

　　研究院是一個(gè)從事以傳統(tǒng)國(guó)學(xué)為特色、以儒學(xué)研究為重點(diǎn)的學(xué)術(shù)研究和培養(yǎng)高水平研究生的綜合性人文科研機(jī)構(gòu)，在以古文、古史、古哲為標(biāo)志的中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域精心耕耘，取得一批具有時(shí)代高度的標(biāo)志性成果，已成為山東大學(xué)哲學(xué)與社會(huì)科學(xué)研究的重要力量和山東大學(xué)“985”工程和“211”工程建設(shè)的主體力量。中國(guó)古典文獻(xiàn)學(xué)、中國(guó)古代文學(xué)、民俗學(xué)、漢語史、史學(xué)理論及史學(xué)史、科技哲學(xué)等學(xué)科以深厚的功力和創(chuàng)新精神飲譽(yù)學(xué)界，先后承擔(dān)國(guó)家、教育部及山東省哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)研究項(xiàng)目50余項(xiàng)，取得了顯著的學(xué)術(shù)科研成就，形成了獨(dú)特的研究特色，受到學(xué)術(shù)界的廣泛關(guān)注。其中，史學(xué)理論、文獻(xiàn)學(xué)、民俗學(xué)、先秦兩漢文學(xué)、近代漢語、杜甫研究、詮釋學(xué)與中國(guó)詮釋學(xué)研究居海內(nèi)外領(lǐng)先地位。

　　研究院非常重視對(duì)外學(xué)術(shù)交流和國(guó)際合作，國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)交流與合作工作成效突出，先后與法國(guó)、美國(guó)、德國(guó)、日本、韓國(guó)、香港、臺(tái)灣等國(guó)家和地區(qū)的高等學(xué)校或研究機(jī)構(gòu)建立了實(shí)質(zhì)性、長(zhǎng)效性的學(xué)術(shù)交流和合作關(guān)系，赴境外進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流的本院教師90余人次，赴境外進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流的碩士、博士研究生 40余人次，已主辦國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)20余次，院聘請(qǐng)10余名國(guó)內(nèi)外知名學(xué)者為研究院名譽(yù)教授、講座教授、流動(dòng)崗位特聘教授、客座教授或兼職博士生導(dǎo)師。

　　原儒學(xué)高等研究院為山東省人民政府與山東大學(xué)合作共建，旨在適應(yīng)經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化、文化多樣化的時(shí)代需要，發(fā)掘傳統(tǒng)文化的當(dāng)代價(jià)值，建設(shè)中華民族共有的精神家園，承擔(dān)高等院校人才培養(yǎng)、科學(xué)研究、文化融合的歷史使命，發(fā)揮山東大學(xué)地處齊魯之邦、孔子故鄉(xiāng)、儒學(xué)發(fā)源地的區(qū)域優(yōu)勢(shì)，推動(dòng)儒學(xué)的研究、普及與傳播。

　　新的儒學(xué)高等研究院繼往開來，以開放辦院、平視儒釋道、引領(lǐng)古典學(xué)術(shù)潮流為今后的戰(zhàn)略選擇，提出了漢宋并重、文獻(xiàn)與思想并重、經(jīng)學(xué)史與哲學(xué)史并重、傳世文獻(xiàn)與出土文獻(xiàn)并重、考據(jù)與義理并重、史與論并重、沉潛與高明并重、埋頭做大學(xué)問與形成大影響并重、歷史與現(xiàn)實(shí)并重、基礎(chǔ)研究與開發(fā)應(yīng)用并重、尊重個(gè)人興趣與鼓勵(lì)團(tuán)隊(duì)合作并重、國(guó)學(xué)與西學(xué)并重等12個(gè)并重的“兩條腿走路”平衡發(fā)展的科研思路，從學(xué)術(shù)項(xiàng)目、學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)、學(xué)術(shù)出版等三個(gè)方面推動(dòng)以儒學(xué)為重點(diǎn)的中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)學(xué)術(shù)研究的綜合、全面、深入開展，繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持高起點(diǎn)、高水平的學(xué)術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，在尊重學(xué)術(shù)發(fā)展規(guī)律的前提下，通過扎實(shí)努力，力爭(zhēng)將山東大學(xué)儒學(xué)高等研究院建設(shè)成為傳承與創(chuàng)新中華文化的國(guó)家中心、復(fù)興人類文明的東方中心、儒學(xué)走向世界的世界中心。

　　In order to build Shandong University into the center of world Confucius study, to make it to be a top-ranking discipline and thus promote the development of related disciplines, Shandong University, in January 2012, incorporated original Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies, Center of Confucian Studies, Institute of Literature, History and Philosophy, and Editorial Department of Literature, History and Philosophy into the new Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies, retaining the name of “Institute of Literature, History and Philosophy” and keeping the independence of “Editorial Department of Literature, History and Philosophy”.

　　The Advanced Institute of Confucian Studies of Shandong University is not only an independent body of scientific study, but also an open and public platform. As such a platform, the Institute will open itself to the whole university, the whole nation and the world step by step, and to all of scholars engaged in classical academic study, during the process of which it will be gradually built into one of the authoritative institution of classical academic study at home and abroad, especially Confucian studies. At present, the Confucian Institute includes institutes of Chinese philosophy, Chinese history, Chinese literature, Confucian Classics and Chinese traditional philology, ancient text, folklore and Office of Xu Jialu, Office of Pangpu. The present dean is Mr. Xu Jialu, the permanent vice deans are Xu Xianghong, Fan Liming, the executive dean is Wang Xuedian, the secretary of the Party committee is Ba Jinwen, and the vice deans are Yan Bingang, Du Zhexun and Huang Yushun.

　　The original Institute of Literature, History and Philosophy was established in 2002, incorporating the original Research Institute of Literature, History and Philosophy (established in 1983), the Research Institute of Collation of Ancient Books (established in 1983), and Research Institute of Folklore (established in 1985). The original Research Center of Confucianism and the original Advanced Institute of Confucian Studies was established in 2010. The journal Literature History and Philosophy was established in 1951. The famous scholars who served as research and administrative leaders in the original institutions include Hua Gang, Wu Fuheng, Yang Xiangkui, Xiao Difei, Wang Zhongluo, Guan Dedong, Jiang WeiSong, Wang Shaozeng, Ge Maochun, Ding Guanzhi, etc. The famous scholars who are still doing research work include Pang Pu, Dong Zhian, Ji Changhong, Xu Jingzhe, Gong Kechang, Zhang Zhonggang, Meng Xiangcai, Liu Xiaodong, and Feng Haofei.

　　The Institute has 4 first level disciplines: Chinese literature, history, philosophy and sociology; 10 second level disciplines; 2 independent doctoral programs: Chinese classical philology and Chinese folk literature; 8 cooperated doctoral programs: Chinese ancient literature, Chinese graphology, history theory and history of history, special history, Chinese modern and contemporary history, foreign philosophy, Chinese philosophy and philosophy of science and technology; 3 cooperated postdoctoral stations of first level discipline: philosophy, literature and history; and 12 master programs: foreign philosophy, Chinese philosophy, philosophy of science and technology, folklore, Chinese folk literature, literature and art, Chinese graphology, Chinese classical philology, Chinese ancient literature, history theory and history of history, special history and Chinese modern and contemporary history. Chinese classical philology was approved successfully as key discipline of Shandong province and of the nation, and the research institute of folklore was approved as Shandong province’s non material cultural heritage research base and became Chinese festival culture research base of Ministry of Education. There are more than 100,000 books in the library of the institute, including 10,000 thread-bound ancient books, most of which are original editions of Ming and Qing Dynasties, among which Classification of Five Notes published in 10th year of Mingchenghua was once a holding of the original “Wen Yuan Ge”, Da Zheng Zang Ji has script of Dai Jitao, and both of them are cherishing classical books.

　　The Institute has an excellent team of teachers totaling 60, among whom there are 28 professors, 13 associate professors, 8 lecturers, 7 administrative staff members, 4 staff members for library management. In addition, there is a teacher from US and a teacher from Japan. There are 17 doctoral tutors, and more than 80% of the teachers have a doctoral degree. Professor Wang Xuedian and professor Zhen Jiewen were appointed as members of literature and history research museum of Shandong province, professor Ma Laiping as government counselor of Shandong province. Professor Du Zexun and Zhang Shishan entered Education program for New Century Excellent Talents. It has cultivated about 200 doctors and 400 masters, one of whom won the award of the national top 100 doctoral thesis, and another one of which was nominated for it. There are about 230 master and doctoral candidates now in the institute, and about 40 post-doctors in program.

　　The Institute is a comprehensive organization of human science that specializes in studies of Chinese classics, especially of Confucianism,. It aims at cultivating graduate students of high level, gains a number of remarkable results having a top level of the time in the fields of Chinese traditional academy such as ancient Chinese, ancient history, and ancient philosophy, and has become an important force in the research of philosophy and social science and the main body of the construction of “985 project “and “211 project” of Shandong University. Chinese classical philology, Chinese ancient literature, folklore, history of Chinese language, history theory and history of history and philosophy of science and technology is famous in academia for their high expertise and creative spirit, has successively undertaken about 50 projects supported respectively by nation, ministry of education and Shandong province, gained significant accomplishments, formed unique style of research and was recognized widely in the academia. Among them, the theory of history, philology, folklore, literature of Pre-Qing and Two Han dynasties, modern Chinese language, research of Du Fu, hermeneutics and Chinese hermeneutics take a leading position at home and abroad.

　　The Institute puts great emphasis on international academic communication and international cooperation, realizing outstanding achievements in these aspects, establishing successively substantial and long-termed academic communication and cooperation relationship with France, the US, Germany, Japan, Korea, Hongkong, and Taiwan. There are about 90 person-times of teachers and 40 person-times of graduate students who went abroad for academic communications. It has held about 20 international symposiums and employed about 10 famous scholars as honorary professors, chair professors, distinguished professors in flow position, visiting professors or concurrent doctoral supervisors.

　　The original Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies made great contributions to the cooperation between the government of Shandong province and Shandong University, reconstruction of the value of traditional culture for needs of development in the time of globalization of economy and diversity of culture, building of Chinese spiritual home, the talent training, scientific research and cultural integration, exerting the regional priority of Shandong University in the Qi Lu Region, in Confucius’ hometown and in the origin of Confucianism, and the research, popularity and propagation of Confucianism.

　　The new Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies will fully take good advantages of its past. Its future development will under the guide of the strategy of opening the Institute, equaling Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism, and leading the research of classics, and thus it proposes the scientific line of juxtaposition of Han and Song, document and thought, history of classics and history of philosophy, popular classics and newly unearthed documents, textual research and philosophical connotation, history and commentary, potentiality and brilliance, being humble in study and becoming significant in influence, history and reality, basic study and employment, respecting personal interesting and encouraging team cooperation, Chinese classical culture and western culture. It will promote the comprehensive, overall, deep development of Chinese traditional academy from the three aspects of academic project, academic activity and academic publishing, while still insisting on its high level and high start point of academic standard. In the premise of respecting the developing rule of academy, we will, through solid effort, do our best to build the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies into a national center of inheriting and innovating Chinese culture, an eastern center of reviving human civilization, and a world center of Confucianism.
