　　3.原因識(shí)別：

　　原因識(shí)別細(xì)節(jié)題，題干往往包含because/in that/due to/why/attribute sth. to/result from/originate from等，是比較容易判斷的一個(gè)題型。來(lái)看例子：24. The author attributes the phenomenon of "golden skirts" to .

　　A.the small number of qualified females in management

　　B.the over-recruitment of female managers in public

　　companies

　　C.the advantage women enjoy when competing for senior

　　positions

　　D.the discrimination toward women in Norwegian business

　　原因識(shí)別的細(xì)節(jié)題就是根據(jù)結(jié)果求得原因。首先由題干定位到結(jié)果，原因在結(jié)果的前或后，另外答案出現(xiàn)的地方或者有明顯的表明原因的詞出現(xiàn)或者是通過(guò)隱含的邏輯關(guān)系得出來(lái)的。

　　Many complain that it has been difficult to find experienced candidates. Because of this, some of the best women have collected as many as 25-35 directorships each, and are known in Norwegian business circles as the "golden skirts". One reason for the scarcity is that there are fairly few women in management in Norwegian companies---they occupy around 15% of senior positions.我們通過(guò)特殊詞 "golden skirts"定位到以上內(nèi)容，在該關(guān)鍵詞所在的句子并沒(méi)有原因只是在陳述這一現(xiàn)象，而在句首的Because of this，就是指向了原因，由代詞this我們找到上一句是說(shuō)很難找到有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的候選人，換句話說(shuō)就是有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的候選人太少了。在定位句的下一句又出現(xiàn)的關(guān)鍵詞One reason，同樣是來(lái)解釋原因的，是因?yàn)楣芾韺拥呐�性太少了。A.the small number of qualified females in management這個(gè)選項(xiàng)中的small number表明數(shù)量少，qualified females而且是合格的女性少，用完美的同義替換很容易找到答案。該題關(guān)鍵在于定位準(zhǔn)，再進(jìn)行同義替換。

　　有的題目的原因不像該題中這么明顯有reason或者because of，我們需要用邏輯去判別。比如29. Kris Carr make up names for the people who treat her because ________

　　A. she is depressed and likes swearing

　　B. she is funny and likes playing jokes on doctor

　　C. she wants to leave the medical advice to doctor

　　D. she tries to leave a good impression on doctor

　　我們由題干中的make up names for the people定位到以下內(nèi)容的第二句話，在該句話中只是羅列了she的一些行為，而這些行為的上邊一句話則是原因，這個(gè)人比較好玩才會(huì)出現(xiàn)這些行為，這是屬于不明顯的原因識(shí)別，需要我們按邏輯來(lái)判斷。Cancer isn't funny, but Ms. Carr often is. She swears, she makes up names for the people who treat her (Dr. Fabulous and Dr. Guru), and she even makes second sound fun ("cancer road trips," she calls them).
